The Cincinnati Business Courier each year finds the fastest growing companies within the City of Cincinnati and awards them for their growth. While Republic Wire was a consistent participant in this award for the first decade of the 2000’s, the award is based on percentage growth year over year and the smaller companies in the region had pushed Republic Wire out of the award due to large percentage growth during a 6-year period of time.

However, we are happy to announce that in the last two years Republic Wire has returned to the rankings and narrowly missed winning the top growth award in our revenue size category in 2018! We are excited to be a part of the Fast 55 award ceremony again in 2019 and look forward to seeing if we win the award for the top percentage growth in our revenue category!

Recent developments in territory changes forced us to make some changes to our agency group. One of these changes consolidated a large territory and left us without representation in the Minnesota and North & South Dakota market. To our advantage, this change brought EMS-MN to our doorstep. EMS-MN stepped in to fill out this territory and we are excited to welcome them to the Republic Wire group! EMS not only fills out a much needed territory for Republic Wire, but also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in utility markets.

Due to recent developments around the state of Ohio, Republic Wire, after much deliberation, has determined that our home territory is better suited to having a direct presence and salesperson to cover the territory on our behalf. Thus, we are happy to announce a first in Republic Wire history with the addition of our first direct territory salesman!

Herb Hammiel joins Republic Wire as our first direct outside salesman and we couldn’t be happier that he is the first to attain this title within Republic Wire. As of May 1, 2019, we welcome Herb to the Republic Wire family! Herb is a long-time personal friend of the Rosenbeck and Republic Wire family and his presence in the Southwestern Ohio territory cannot be overstated. Herb brings with him over 40 years of industry experience in the Southwestern Ohio territory and is a well-respected salesman in the area. His territory will include all of Southwestern Ohio along with the Columbus territory as he will work to grow our presence throughout our home territory.
